Anuz & Oakie Tangles

Here's a few tangles I've been working into my Halloween ZIA's. Anuz and Oakie. Not sure if they're new or not...but I'm having fun with them.

Blue Kitty Adventures

Blue Kitty Picks a Pumpkin and Blue Kitty Finds A Friend. Blue Kitty is out and about, picking pumpkins and finding friends. Mistress Witch found him in the pumpkin patch after midnight...so she's bringing him home to a warm bowl of milk and a loving lap :o)

Both are ACEO size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) Ink, glitter pen and Prismacolor on Stonehenge paper.

Mischief Managed: Tangled & Untangles

I drew the graphite version first and then did a "tangled" version. Most of the time I do a graphite version first in order to get the lines right - especially the placement of the eyes. Ink is so unforgiving, no going back from mistakes.

Both of these pieces are ACEO size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) The graphite version is on Strathmore 300 Smooth Bristol board and the "Tangled" version is drawn on Stonehenge paper with Micron pen, Prismacolor and tinted graphite. It's hard to tell from the scan, but she also has a little bit of glitter here and there ;o)

Love Spells

These two sweeties are looking up spells....can you guess what kind?

Both are ACEO size (2.5 x 3.5 inches ) and are created with micron pen and prismacolor pencil on Stonehenge paper.

Mirror Mirror All Tangled

Could not resist doing a tangled version of Mirror Mirror ( see my earlier posts) for Halloween. This little witch is roughly 4 x 6 inches and drawn with Ink and Prismacolor on tinted Stonehenge Paper.

Halloween Witches - Tangled &Un-Tangled

I LOVE drawing my little witches....they're so much fun and full of magic. I've decided to start doing 2 version of each drawing...a traditional drawing and a "tangled" version of the same pose...here is Missy Magic (tangled) & Mistress Witch (graphite) - both ACEO sketch cards, 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

Fairy "Tangle" ACEO's

Based these two on my graphite drawings below. Both are ACEO size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) and are drawn with ink, Prismacolor and tinted graphite on Stonehenge paper.

A few new ACEO's

A few new ACEO's. I was feeling the need to go back to basics with graphite...it's still my favorite medium. Both of these are 2.5 x 3.5 inches and are on Bristol Board.

Dance Ballerinal Dance

Seems I'm obsessed with dancing figures lately...this is my 3rd Fairy-Dance Zentangle. It's created with ink & graphite on 5x7 Stonehenge paper.

Stormy - she's what I call a natural fairy...drew her by candle light and sun light. She looks a little wind blown, don't you think? Ink & graphite on Stonehenge paper, 5x7 inches

Finished this one tonight...created her over the past couple of days, all this storm talk makes me want to hold on to summer as long as possible: "Summer's Fling" roughly 4x6 inched, ink and graphite on Stonehenge paper.

Fariy Ballerinas

A big tangle for me...8x10 inches. I've not done any shading on this yet, but plan to add some color....which is a little intimidating....it's going to take a bit of time to color this one :o)

Bluejay Tangle

Did this one on a official Zentangle tile, micron pens and shaded with graphite. I love the quality of the paper used in the tiles...it's so nice to work with.

New ACEO Fairy "Tangle" & her Dragon Friend

I'm having so much fun "tangling" these Fantasy Art Trading Cards...this new one is based on an older graphite drawing I did last year...same basic pose, but the tangling takes a path of it's own, so the piece actually looks very different from my original drawing.

Tangle Moon

It's been raining off and on today...made a trip to Newport with hubby for shopping and coffee and then finished this one. ACEO, ink, prismacolor and tinted graphite on Stonehenge paper

Blue Kitty

It's a rainy morning here in the North East....good for staying indoors and getting some tangling done...or at least some coloring of the tangles I've done over the past couple of weeks. "Blue Kitty" is done with ink and Prismacolor pencils on a 3.5 x 3.5 inch Zentangle Tile.

I really must do my own "Tangled" background for this blog...stay tuned
